The app/platform "Democrática" is an ongoing project designed to simplify financial management for political candidates and parties. With features like bank transactions, sub-account control, and an integrated fundraising tool, the platform makes it easier to meet Brazil’s electoral authority (TSE) requirements.
My mission with Democrática was to empower candidates and parties with intuitive tools for managing campaign funds, ensuring transparency and compliance—without the bureaucracy.
This project involved the complete design and development of a digital platform tailored for political campaigns. The goal was to create a trustworthy and accessible experience that reflects the platform’s commitment to transparency, simplicity, and efficiency in financial management.
From the ground up, the product was designed to meet the specific needs of candidates and parties, offering intuitive navigation, smart financial tools like sub-account control and integrated fundraising, and full alignment with Brazil’s electoral regulations. Every design decision aimed to reduce friction, ensure clarity, and support compliance with the TSE, without compromising usability.
The design of Democrática was guided by the principles of neutrality, clarity, and modernity. We adopted a minimalist visual approach using a strictly black and white palette, creating a clean, robust, and accessible interface that avoids visual associations with any political party or ideology.
The goal was to communicate trust, institutional strength, and simplicity in every detail. From the login screen to dashboards, sub-account management, and fundraising tools, the UI was designed to reduce friction and ensure that users, from political candidates to campaign managers, could navigate and act with confidence.
Typography is functional and elegant, enhancing readability across all layers of content. Layouts prioritize space, hierarchy, and directness, supporting both desktop and mobile experiences.
